Meet The Team

Don Bowden

DON "Party Animal" BOWDEN
Founder

Lampshades were made for Don’s head! Being an innovator for most of his life, Don is the ultimate party animal. He does not need tequila to see things straight. He started buying restaurants when he wanted Dallas/Ft. Worth to have a better mix of Mexican food. At 65, he led the revolution to bring fresh, yummy guac to the masses. Now, at 75 he is still extremely involved in the business. Taste testing is his favorite past time and spicy is his flavor of choice. But be careful not to eat with him, he's a double dipper!

Steve Parnell

STEVE "Party Pooper" PARNELL
President

Steve doesn’t wear lampshades, he pays for them! He leads our company with the same passion he fishes with (our bait is guac, the fish are not fans…yet!). Steve started as a stock boy at Albertsons’ and worked his way up to know the grocery business. His wife still can’t go to the grocery store with him, as he spends too much time looking at products, re-arranging shelf space, etc. He likes the classics – our guac Classic – avocado, just avocado man.

Jay Alley

JAY "Party Planner" ALLEY
Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Jay’s life is one big party – with retailers, brokers, sales team, etc. If there is laughter in our offices, it is coming from his office. He too is embarrassing to go grocery shopping with, as he worked his way up the Albertsons’ food chain as well. He gets the party started with his thinking on products, pricing and promotions. He likes Guacasalsa on EVERYTHING … hot dogs, eggs, meatloaf… no food is safe!

Marcia Walker

MARCIA "Party Diva" WALKER
Vice President, Food Safety and Innovation

Marcia is more than a Diva, she is a PhD (and she reminds us all the time)! Her passion is around food – eating it, cooking it, measuring it and keeping it safe and sound. She could be one of those people that is not fun to eat around because they tell you all the gross things – not our Marcia!! She is always looking for new flavors, new cooking processes and her favorite topic (she can talk for hours) is how food can be good for you AND wicked yummy! She likes the Organic guac -- ala PhD style!
